Las Vegas Shopping

Forum Shops at Casesar's Palace - Las VegasLas Vegas has become one of the best places to go shopping on the West Coast. From numerous souvenir shops and outlet malls to high-end retail stores, it is indeed the great escape for shoppers.

Many of the newer hotels and casinos on the Strip have high-end stores where you can buy any top brand you can think of.

And how about this for a twist. Many shops inside newer casino have shows going on. Some of the places to see these shows are: Forum Shop at Caesars Palace (pictured), Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, Wynn Esplanade at the Wynn Resort and Casino, Via Bellagio at the Bellagio, and Bally’s shopping arcade at Bally’s.

Along the Las Vegas Strip, on Spring Mountain Road, is the Fashion Show Mall, where you can find the newest and best shops for clothing in Nevada. There are eight major stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Robinsons-May, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Nordstrom. The Apple Store is also located inside the mall where you can find all kinds of iPod products and Mac computers.

The newest addition to Las Vegas’s shopping venue is the Town Square Las Vegas on the Strip at the intersection of I-15 and 215-Beltway. It is an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment center with retailer shops such as Bebe, Chico’s, H&M, Guitar Center, Marciano, and others. There is also Rave Motion Pictures, Whole Foods Market, Borders Bookstore and many more.

Other Malls in Las Vegas include: The Meadows on US 95 and Valley View, The Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway and The Galleria at Sunset and Stephanie in Henderson. These malls have major department stores, such as Dillard’s, Macy’s, Sears, JC Penney, Mervyn’s, Robinsons-May, the Disney Store, and many specialty stores, like American Eagle Outfitters, The Gap, Yankee Candle Co., Charlotte Russe and Footlocker Triplex.

Las Vegas is also becoming an outlet center for some of the major leading brands in the country. Some of the outlet stores are the Las Vegas Outlet Center on Las Vegas Boulevard South, The Las Vegas Premium Outlet on Grand Central and the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas in Primm. They carry named brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Reebok, Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole, Dolce and Gabbana, Adidas, LaCoste, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, A/X Armani Exchange and many others.

When in Vegas, the motto “shop ‘til you drop” applies. If you can’t find it in Vegas, it probably doesn’t exist.
