Las Vegas Dining Options
Las Vegas has some of the finest dining in the world. Five-star hotels features world-renowned chefs, such as Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali, and Joel Robuchon. From fancy steak & seafood dinners and excellent buffets to other specials, like shrimp cocktail, whatever you’re in the mood for, Vegas has it.
Some of the less-expensive restaurants that offer good-quality food are usually found in smaller casinos outside of the Las Vegas Strip.
However, if you want to splurge for special occasions, such as anniversary, birthday, honeymoon or just a romantic evening with that someone special in your life, I suggest taking them to any one of the fine restaurants inside the hotel and casinos along the Las Vegas Strip.
Some of the best restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip are the Delmonico at the Venetian Resort, Luxor Steakhouse at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, Craftsteak at the MGM (pictured), Gallagher Steakhouse at NewYork, New York, Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay, BOA Steakhouse at the Caesars Palace, and Bouchon at the Venetian among others.
Other fabulous places I highly recommend are Battista Ristorante behind the Flamingo, Rosemary’s Restaurant on West Sahara, Andre’s in Downtown and Ranch Steakhouse at the Horseshoe.
Las Vegas is also known for bargain dining. Since it’s a 24-hour town, they have around-the-clock specials. Some of the best bargain dining in Vegas is found inside the casinos in downtown area, Summerlin and outside the Strip. Among them are the California Hotel, Golden Gate Hotel and Casino (best shrimp cocktail), Binion’s Horseshoe coffee shop, Siena Café at the Suncoast, JW Marriot Las Vegas Resort and Spa, Ellis Island, Gold Coast, Sam’s Town, Peppermill, the Orleans Hotel and Casino, Hardrock Café, Riviera and any of the Station Casinos.
You will find some of the best prime rib, steak and breakfast specials in those places.
For all the buffet lovers, the Main Street Station Garden Court downtown has a fantastic buffet and the price is reasonable. Good buffets are also found on the Las Vegas Strip—at the Wynn Las Vegas and the Palms Fantasy Market Buffet at the Palms—but expect to pay a lot more.
For the best prime rib in Las Vegas go to Lawry’s The Prime Rib on Howard Hughes Parkway and for a good steak without breaking your wallet try the Austins Steakhouse at Texas Station.
No matter what you’re in the mood for, Las Vegas has the answer.
